Stop Puppy Mills! Ban Pet Stores From Selling Puppies

Messages Sent So Far
This is a very important issue that has gone on too long in our country. It's a very dark and evil industry and we are simply ignoring the abuse and neglect these companion animals are going through. It's time for change to step up and BAN PUPPY SALES IN PET STORES! The department of agriculture should not be responsible for companion animals. Puppies are not products and the owners of these pet stores are lying to innocent consumers. Millions of dogs are put down in the United States every year, how long will it continue??? Please end this cruel and vicious cycle.

Please ban puppy mills. These dogs are not well taken care of and live in deplorable conditions. There are enough dogs that need to be adopted, without dogs being continually.bred to produce designer puppies, and increasing the puppy population.

We love animals because they show us love and emotion; therefore, one cannot deny that animals are capable of feeling. Why, then, would it be permissible to treat these creatures with the same type of slavery, breeding, and cruelty that our nation banned after the civil war? It is NOT permissible, and we need to take action. Ban puppies from being sold in pet stores and end breeding for profit. Dogs love us unconditionally. It's time for us to love them back.

Why is the US allowing animals to be bred and sold as companions when we are actively euthanizing millions each year? How does this make sense?

Please ban selling puppies and kittens at all pet stores in the US. Puppymillers will have NO avenue to sell their sickly animals if you will make a law with this action.
