Eliminate the Electoral college
November 8th 2016 was the second time a Presidential candiate won the popular vote but lost the presidency. This petition is to ask the United States government to get rid of the archaic system known as the Electoral College and give the American vote, power and meaning.
The Electoral College is not a valid way to accurately represent the United States. Technology has made it possible for the individual vote to be counted in a timely manner and in the name of Democracy and justice the Electoral College needs to be eliminated.
