Unfair Illinois College Expense law
Illinois is one of only FIVE states in the US that give courts the power to award college support beyond the age of majority, also called post-secondary or post-minority support. Other states have no statutes holding parents responsible for college support because it has been deemed unconstitutional to ORDER a parent to pay for college expenses.
