They're sentencing our children and others to death!! That's what it's going to come down to after we cannot afford the daily medications and supplies to keep our babies alive. Something needs to be done!!!

Please help us! My mother is a type 1 diabetic, she has had this disease for 45 years. 45 years of relying on insulin to stay alive. And now, the costs are so high that she cannot afford her medication and we are putting in on our charge cards...we...her children are going into debt because of the monopoly in the insulin market. She is currently in the medicare doughnut hole and can't get her medicine. So she will end up in the hospital costing THOUSANDS to the tax payers. This has to stop. This is not how we need to treat our children and our elderly.

My son who has T1 is 21 . Luckily right now he is on our medical insurance which happens to be very good as far as covering meds and supplies for the disease. However I hate to think what will happen when he is a young twenty something and has to be responsible for this on his own. If his employer does not have adequate insurance benefits he could be in dire straits. This drug keeps our loved ones with this disease alive. No one should ever have to wonder if they can afford to have a drug that is a neccessity

My 14 year old type 1 diabetic son's life depends on insulin. The rising costs are at an all time high making our family (and many others) scrap the bottom of the barrel each month just to afford to keep him alive! This coat and massive increase needs to STOP!!!!! We need CHANGE NOW!

I'm T1D and I can assure you this disease is NOT cheap. Affordable medicine and management devices should be available to all who need it. They are lifesavers. Period.

People should not have to choose whether or not they can "afford" their illness and remain healthy. Price gouging allowed by the government has got to stop.

Doctors and every medical professional I know take an oath to first do no harm...... I believe that every and all who deal with the people's health should also, especially insurance companies. I get that money is needed for research and all that but to do it for profit ? That's murder.
