Stop the stomping of the American Flag
A disturbing new trend has hit social media following the manhunt for Eric Sheppard, a Valdosta State University student who allegedly brought a gun on campus during anti-American flag protests. This challenge asks people to stomp on the American Flag.
This is not only highly disturbing to so many Americans because of what our Flag stands for & represents but also because so many have of our Military have died fighting to protect the land it flies over. It also, under The Flag Protection Act 18 US Code 700, is punishable by fines or imprisonment for anyone who "knowingly mutilates, defaces, physically defiles, burns, maintains on the floor or ground, or tramples upon any flag of the United States" . PLEASE join us in asking our Nation to stand up and make those that STOMP ON THE FLAG be held accountable!!
