END STANDARD TIME

Messages Sent So Far
It is time we make Daylight Savings Time the new Standard Time. The United States already is on DST 8 months of the year. How can something be in place 2/3 of the time, and not be considered the standard. Instead of changing the clocks back in November, let's do away with traditional Standard Time. DST should be the new standard and end the practice of moving clocks forward or back.

I prefer Daylight Saving Time all year round. I never change my clocks back anymore. In the northern states they readjust their winter hours even with the change back to standard time. Businesses and schools in every state can adjust their winter hours if needed if we no longer set our clocks back.

Not only should we keep DST year round, I'd be in favor of turning clocks another hour in that direction for more daylight in the evenings.

lets keep DST as the standard time, year round. Times have changed and leaving work when its completely dark out is very depressing and hurts the economy as people just want to run home and hide under the blankets. Having an extra hour of light after work will get people out into bars, restaurants, shopping and all types of activities. There's no need for it to be light out at 6am in the winter, but dark at 5pm. Lets make DST the new standard and keep it this way year round.

Please end the practice of changing back to Standard Time. It is outdated and an unnecessary distraction. There is no useful reason to change back to standard time.
